The Meteorological Department said on Wednesday evening that night and day temperatures across the country could rise slightly in the next 24 hours. The next two days the weather may change slightly. The temperature may rise in the next five days.

The forecast for the next 24 hours said that a mild cold wave is sweeping over Srimangal, Panchagarh and Kurigram areas and it may subside. The weather can be mainly dry with temporarily partly cloudy skies. Light to moderate fog may fall in river basins across the country from late night to early morning.

The extension of the sub-continental high pressure zone is located in West Bengal and adjoining areas. The normal light pressure of the season is located in the South Bay.
